Re-Cap / Thoughts / Turkey?

- Leah and I did a big embarrassing “Christmasy” video shoot yesterday!

- In seven days we will finally turn our heat on for the first time this season! Our apartment was 41 degrees the other day. I hate the cold coming out of the shower. Don’t you?

- I hope our pipes don’t freeze!

- I had a great time last week at our Middle School camp planning meeting in NYC. Scroll down and check out the video blog that I posted! We got tickets to see Letterman with Dave Howe, Ryan Geiger, Kyle Short and the gang!

- Happy Thanksgiving week!

- Shoot as many turkeys as you can before Thursday! No one goes without this year!

- Save a pilgrim…shoot a turkey…or run two over with the car like I did (accidentally) last year. Hey…it was foggy and they ran right out in front of me. They took the paint right off of Leah’s bumper.

- Great service this past weekend! Pastor Buddy did an awesome job wrapping up the series Unprecedented Times!

- Christians should not just be known as  being judgmental, critical, political, and hypocritical! We should SHINE our light…”Good Samaritan” style!

- Leah and I are going to Boston for Thanksgiving! We are looking forward to relaxing and eating turkey and pie.

- We have sooooo much to be thankful for! God has really blessed us!

- What’s the big deal with the Twilight movie that just came out? I just don’t understand. Teenagers are going in the thousands to see this movie. Hmmmm.

- A 16-week-old Turkey is called a “fryer”. A 5- to 7-month-old Turkey is called a “young roaster” and a 1-year-old Turkey is a “yearling”. Any Turkey 15 months or older is called “mature”.

- Turkeys can drown if they look up when it is raining.

- Turkey breeding has caused Turkeys’ breasts to grow so large that the Turkeys fall over.
